Alma is a Fine Art graduate with a degree from Nottingham Trent University. She has dedicated most of her career to working with young people. For the last 18 years, she has worked in the community arts sector, implementing projects focused on wellbeing and artistic development.

She makes sure young people’s voices are at the heart of her work. At City Arts in Nottingham, she founded the Express Yourself project, Young Producers group, a monthly art club and the charity’s first Youth Panel.

Her work has included Erasmus+ funded international projects. She has run large scale arts events and organised public art commissions, consulting with artists, partner organisations and communities.
