E-SHAHRAZAD is an Erasmus plus Strategic partnership project in the field of Adult Education, aims to bridge the gap between the young generation and the adult generation using stories.

Inspired by the Thousand and One Nights Tales, the E-SHAHRAZAD project aims to bring teenagers and adults over 55 together in an intergenerational dimension, develop the ICT skills, basic reading and writing skills of adults, and to provide teenagers with knowledge and skills about the European cultural heritage, values and history.

Methodology, Guides and Educational Material on the use of Digital Storytelling for Intergenerational Learning in adult education will be developed and these materials will be accessible as open source videos in English and all other partner languages.

Digital Storytelling Hub will create and provide a self learning platform with different educational materials. Within the scope of E-SHRAZAD, a 4-day training will be conducted with a total of 24 individuals responsible for adult education from each partner country, and these trainers will conduct workshops and a pilot application with the attendance of 20 adults aged over 55 and 10 young individuals aged 13-25 from each country with a duration of 3 months. During the project period, a minimum of 5 and a total of 20 digital stories will be created from each partner country. At the end of the project, a Compendium that will consist of good practices at EU level will be prepared and shared with all stakeholders.
