Dr Dan Sage

Dan Sage is Reader in Organisation Studies at Loughborough Business School. His research focuses on exploring practices of organising and organisations, particularly alternative organisation, such as community cooperatives, within social economies. Dan has undertaken various funded research projects with under-represented voices and communities, particularly related to climate change and social inequities. He has mobilized storytelling approaches as part of these efforts, often alongside organisational ethnography and theoretical influences from across critical organisation studies.
Dan welcomes collaboration and dialogue with scholars and practitioners interested in how alternative forms of organisation can contribute to tackling socio-ecological challenges.
