‘Branching out’ at the International Association for Society and Natural Resources (IASNR) in Berlin
On the 8th and 9th March Professor Mike Wilson and Alma Solarte-Tobon will be in Berlin attending a meeting of the European Chapter of the International Association for Society and Natural Resources (IASNR), representing the ‘Branching Out’ project.
Mike and Alma will be part of a panel organized by the Future of UK Treescapes Programme, where they will be presenting alongside other projects funded by UKRI under the same programme.
Their presentation, entitled ‘Storytelling as a Tool for Bridging, Engagement and Thinking in Transdisciplinary Research’ will report on our work so far on ‘Branching Out’, including the storytelling performance work carried out last year by Pat Ryan, locating it within a three-pillared theoretical framework of Storytelling as Bridging, Storytelling as Engagement, and Storytelling as Thinking.
