PhD Studentship in Drawing and Digital Storytelling
Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD studentships in the School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University. The School is looking for highly motivated and talented individuals who are keen to contribute the School’s vibrant research culture.
We are keen to hear from applicants interested in exploring how creative processes of drawing and digital storytelling can be applied to facilitate intergenerational dialogues. We are particularly interested in attracting students who want to explore maternal grandmother to granddaughter relationships through practice-led research, which explores first-person narratives. The interest in combing the processes of drawing and digital storytelling is not only in the exploration of the subject matter but in the development of an interdisciplinary practice-led methodology, which could be applied for further research.
This Studentship is part of four fully funded studentships in the School of Design and Creative Arts, therefore when you apply, you need to indicate which priority area you are interested in (drawing and digital storytelling) and submit a 1-page synopsis about why this topic is important.
